Managing a production line is a complex business. Our clients’ production manager was using a complex system of spreadsheets and printed paper to manage theirs.
This led to a lot of duplicated data between their database and the spreadsheets. Not to mention the extra work involved copy-pasting data from one place to the other.
What we have built is a system that extracts the data from the database live in real-time and displays this in a format that is clear and concise. This illuminates the need to maintain a separate copy of the data in a spreadsheet.
The new system is comprised of several pages that categorise the data. The data can be filtered on-demand to tally up quantities to be produced by different teams on the production line.
Each manufacturing order is colour coded for easy identification.
